I found out about this book randomly from an erotica Facebook page and after buying it on a whim I am not disappointed at all. It's hard to find a good storyline with magical fantasy undertones without being either too sappy or on the verge of being a script for a corny porno...As a straight guy(only added that to emphasize a point) I found this truly entertaining and enjoyed every minute of it. I was already telling friends of it before I was even halfway done. 2👍👍 way up!

This is the 3rd book I’ve read by Grace and I enjoy watching her grow as an author. This story was cute and super easy to cozy up to and get engrossed. I loved the character of Cleo, she is prickly, sarcastic, yet venerable and vibrant. Grace did a fantastic job of bringing her to life. Then we have Beck, who is the perfect mix of gentleman and alpha. I loved it. I especially loved the Detective.
The ending of the story is very predictable, I knew where that was heading as soon as Beck explained the rules. But, I liked the idea of karma in the wishes and it really makes you think what would you wish for with that kind of power.
The story is well thought out and Grace’s character building is superb. I think the only thing she needs to do is work on her love scenes. They tend to feel forced and need more finesse, less is more sometimes. The bathroom scene was perfect. The scene in the orchard was also hot. But please don’t ever use the term “rigid man-sausage” again. It ruined the scene and I had to put the book down and laugh. Not a good laugh, an OMG why! Laugh. Just no!
I didn’t really find this story to be funny, so comedy isn’t really the right word, at least not for me. Where Grace is trying to be funny is during the love scenes and it comes across to me as crude. Not funny. What I did find was a story that was extremely likable with incredibly developed characters and a plot that was super cute and heartwarming. I teared up. It’s rare for me to do that.
Ungranted Wishes is getting a solid 4 Boundless Stars from me. I really look forward to continuing to watch Grace grow and improve as an author because I think she has a great raw talent that just needs some polish.
Another amazing read from Risata! I wish I had found her sooner. Every character is amazing and could easily have their own spin-off. Of course there as hot as hell scenes in this as well!
Cleo is a full figured woman stuck in a job she hates. When she stumbles upon an estate sale and finds an antique lamp the whole sexy journey begins. Beck is hot hot hot and his chemistry with Cleo is crazy!
Grace really knows how to tell a story! And a genie in a bottle? That's genius! I really enjoyed this book, has a few twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are great and the romance is swoon worthy!! Me Likey the Book!!
I want a genie now! Cleo is a full figured woman that put up walls to avoid being hurt. When she gets a piece at a yard sale and has a little too much wine, she rubs the object and says just the right thing, a hot genie appears. He's everything Cleo is looking for but she only gets 3 wishes. Great characters & story. What are her 3 wishes? Read it to find out. Funny but has all the emotional feels at the same time.
Predictable but enjoyable. There was some definite highlights and some definite cringeworthy dialogue moments from the FMC but otherwise I liked the book. It wasn't really funny more so campy in my opinion but like I said I finished it and lately I haven't finished most books.
What a great, fun, silly story. I loved this. It had everything I wanted and more.
First take a girl down on her luck, make her sarcastic and funny. Then throw in a magic lamp and a genie that truly loves her. This story is about learning to beat the odds and putting others in front of yourself. I truly loved this and recommend it to everyone.
